About this Event

Walking the Churchgate follows the path (as closely as possible) from Churchtown to Birkdale on what was one of the oldest tracks in Lancashire. Only a small section of it survives, but it is possible to follow the exact course for parts. You will learn about the parish of North Meols, lesser known aspects of Churchtown, the former Rectory, Little London, Snuttering Lane, the Breeing Stone and much more! David is happy to walk & talk the whole way!

NOTE- This walk is kept at a good pace and David will be talking as we walk as well as some stopping points.
