Formed in 2019 by singer songwriter Mark Nelson and lead guitarist/producer Craig Bartock (Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Inductee band HEART), Walking Mirrors has assembled some of the Best Rock n’ Roll All-Stars in the Bay Area. Thirty-year Joe Satriani drummer Jeff Campitelli (and ranked the 50th greatest drummer of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine), decade long Boston (yes that Boston!) bass player/background vocalist David Sikes, and shredding guitrist Aidan Nelson (Deer Hollow, Berklee College of Music) round out this group of outstanding musicians.
Over the last three years, the band's "movement" has taken the North Bay live rock n' roll music scene by storm, selling out all the major venues in Marin County.
Delivering a classic but insanely original brand of reflective rock n roll, this Rock n’ Roll Super Group is led by Craig’s ripping guitar riffs and overall musical direction, and Marks carefully crafted story-telling and raw vocals.
The band’s live sets include carefully selected songs from their thirty-piece original catalogue, and a host of synergistic cover songs that just make you feel the way you were meant to feel. “Awesome.” The music is heavily influenced by the pure energy of the Rolling Stones and storytelling and approachability of Tom Petty.
Walking Mirrors released their second studio album “Nothing Left for Gray” at the end of 2022, three years after cutting their self-titled album back in 2019. Both albums are certain to reflectively “move you.”
In service to our mission, all WM ticket proceeds are donated to local not for profits. We have raised (including sponsorships) over $225 thousand dollars over the three-year period.
To date, beneficiaries have included the Redwood Credit Union Community Fund, the Town of San Anselmo, Town of Sausalito, Corte Madera Community Foundation, Town of Occidental, Bridge the Gap College Prep, Sweetwater Music Hall, Nicasio Volunteer Fire Department, Mark Day School, The Kyle Hyland Foundation-Teen Support, The Hamann Foundation and many others.
