Walker Shank Memorial Golf Tourney 2026
About this Event
Please join us for the 16th Annual Walker Shank Memorial on Saturday, Aug. 29th at Chatmoss Country Club. A pool party will follow the tourney, also at Chatmoss.
Walker Shank was an avid golfer throughout his life, and competed on the Martinsville High School varsity team for four years. A portion of event proceeds will go to fund the Penn-Shank Memorial Endowment Scholarship for students at MHS. Our goal is to raise $2,500 for the scholarship fund through this tourney.
All teams will tee off at noon (shotgun start). The tournament will feature a Captain’s Choice format with 4-person teams. The fee to play is $75 per player. A four-man team costs $300 per team without mulligans, or $340 per team to get 2 mulligans per player. All golfers will be eligible for 2 closest to the pin prizes, a long-drive prize and a closest-to-the-line prize. Each golfer will receive a boxed lunch, available as early as 11 am.
