The next Refugee Tales walk will be held in Darent Valley, Otford!

Meeting point

We will meet at Eynsford Railway Station at 10:30 am to leave at 11am.

Our Route: 7 miles (approximately)

Gordon Parker who has designed the route tells us that it passes Eynsford railway viaduct, with 9 arches, built in 1862. We follow paths past a wildlife centre and then descend to pass the site of a 1st century Roman villa and then the 15th century Lullingstone Castle. We can have a comfort break and refreshments at the Lullingstone Country Park Visitor's Centre. On this walk we pass the largest lavender farm in the UK, we pass a church with a 1903 Morris and Co window designed by Burne-Jones, we pass playing fields with a large scale model of the solar system! We see the only listed duck pond in the country.

No dogs

We ask that you do not bring dogs (other than guide dogs), as we wish to make the walk accessible for all.
