Walk with Moonlight & Mawazo in the 2026 Mermaid Parade

Join Moonlight & Mawazo as we march in the iconic Coney Island Mermaid Parade on June 20, 2026! Celebrate creativity, culture, and community in one of NYC’s most vibrant summer traditions. Costumes encouraged—come make a splash with us!

What is included with my ticket?
Your ticket includes

1. the opportunity to march with Moonlight & Mawazo in the Mermaid Parade, WITH roup coordination, and access to our group experience.
2. Parade registration fee
3. Invite to a private Mer-Craft event
4. You Mer-pod family certiticate

Where is the event located?
The parade takes place in Coney Island. Specific meet-up details will be shared after registration.

What time should I arrive?
The parade begins at approximately 1:00 PM. Exact meeting time and location for our group will be emailed to participants in advance, usually about 10AM.

What should I wear?
Costumes are strongly encouraged! Mermaid, ocean-inspired, Afrofuturist, and fantasy themes are all welcome. Please also wear comfortable shoes. The Mer -Craft Event will help and you can always reach out to me for inspiration !

Are children allowed?
Yes! Children are welcome to participate.

• Tickets are $30 for participants under 12 years old.

Do minors need supervision?
Yes. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). A parent or legal guardian is fully responsible for their supervision and safety.

Do I need to register separately for the parade?
NO, your registartion fee will be paid with the group regitration. More details will be provided after you sign up.

What is the refund policy?
NO REFUNDS UNLESS EVENT IS CANCELLED BY ME ( THE ORGANIZER)
