Walk with Independent U.S. Candidate Dan Osborn in the Omaha Juneteenth parade on Saturday, June 13th!
The parade lineup area begins at N 20th and Grace streets, travels north to Burdette St. and turns west to conclude at N 24th and Burdette streets (this is where the parade begins). We are in lineup Group B which is scheduled to lineup from 9-9:30 a.m. (CT). If you're having trouble finding our group, please text or call our campaign hotline at (402) 281-3275. We will have candy and flyers for attendees to hand out along the parade route.
The parade route starts at N 24th and Burdette streets and travels approximately 1.2 miles North to its conclusion at N 24th and Sprague streets.
From the organizers on parking: Preferred Parking for parade participants walking with a group, is available as Salem Baptist Church, located at 3131 Lake Street. The Shuttle Bus will be running approximately every 15 minutes from Salem to the parking lot off of 25th & Lizzie Robinson (Family Housing Advisory Services parking lot). Additional parking is available at Zion Baptist Church, and Conestoga Elementary. If you park at Conestoga, you will need to enter from 20th & Burdette, and a volunteer will assist you through the check-in gate.
