‘Walk Talk Kernow’ is a FREE adult bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice Care. Whilst walking in nature, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others who are also experiencing grief.
Join us for a stroll along King George V Memorial Walk, at the half way point we will loop back, returning to the Café Riviera or on to Gilberts Café for drinks and cake (time permitting). The walk is a flat well surfaced pathway with a choice of tarmacked or woodland loop back - approximate total distance of 2 miles. Is is mostly flat but some grassy banks on the loop so NOT suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues.
Meeting point outside Café Riviera beside Hayle Lido at 10 am for registration. If the café is closed that day, we will do a shorter walk and then walk to Café Lula on Mexico beach.
Carpark beside Hayle Swimming Pool available (free at the time of hosting this event). Further Street parking available around the area.
Suitable footwear essential.
Please ensure you are fit and healthy on the day as you will be asked to sign on our registration form to this effect.
** During the summer months it is important to stay hydrated, please bring along adequate drinks for this reason **
