Casa De Vida is holding its annual Walk-Run For Recovery 5/10K to raise funds for its daily program operations and to bring about awareness that there is hope for families facing drug and alcohol addiction. Our goal is to raise $10,000 or more. 100% of the Race Registration will go directly to the Casa De Vida Inc. Casa De Vida is a 501 (c) (3) residential drug and alcohol recovery program for men located in Oxnard, California. Jose and Juliana Moreno founded Casa De Vida in 2005 with the purpose of assisting individuals having difficulties with alcohol and drug dependence.Casa De Vida’s Walk-Run For Recovery 5/10K will take place on July 20, 2024 at 8 a.m. at San Buena Ventura State Beach Park and we encourage participants to bring their family members along. Paid Parking ($10) is available on site or free parking outside the residential area. Check in /Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m.
The race will start and finish at the beginning of the park. The course is flat and will be on paved asphalt. The race will be a single loop for the 5K and twice around for the 10K.
There will be plenty of cold water along with a selection of fruits, healthy snacks at the race.
