About this Event
Support a Healthy Heart Run & Walk is a free community fitness event presented by Joe’s Palette in honor of American Heart Month. The event will take place on Saturday, January 7, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Lake Vista Park, located at 1401 62nd Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33705.

Participants are invited to run or walk 2.24 miles, which equals two laps around the park, making it accessible for all fitness levels. The goal of the event is to encourage heart-healthy movement while bringing the community together in a fun, supportive environment.

Meet up - Please show up on time. Walk/Run will begin at 8:20am . Please see refernce images below for parking. There is parking at Lake Vista Community center, next to the park. All guests can meet at the right side of the Lake vista community center on walking path. Participants are encouraged to wear red to be easily identified with fellow runners and walkers and to show support for heart health awareness.

The Run & Walk will be 2.24 miles total, consisting of two laps around Lake Vista Park. Participants are welcome to run or walk at their own pace, making this event suitable for all fitness levels.

This event is at your own pace. Participants are encouraged to move at a speed that feels comfortable and safe for them.
Please bring your own water and any personal items needed to ensure a comfortable and safe walk or run. While water may be available on standby, hydration is not guaranteed, and all participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own form of hydration. No food will be provided.

For this community event, medical staff will not be on site. We ask all participants to pace themselves, be mindful of their personal limits, and participate in a way that feels safe and comfortable.
