Walk Leader Training

We have partnered with The Ramblers and RISE to offer this fantastic opportunity to become a walk leader, for all organistions and residents of Newcastle upon Tyne.

This training is for people who would like to lead Wellbeing walks and become a volunteer walk leader.

The walk leader programme is ran by Newcastle City Council and RISE, and throughout your time as a volunteer we will offer on -going support.

The volunteer can either be an employee from your organisation or it can be a client.

At the end of the training, there will be some time to plan how frequently you will be leading walks.

The training will involve a walk at the end - where we will show you how to lead a walk safely. so please come dressed appropriately.
