About this Event
π Walk It Out: Career Chats with Mentors (+ PICNIC LUNCH!)
This Mental Health Week, let's ditch the four walls and take our conversations where they belong β outside, under Melbourne's autumn sky. πΏ
Sometimes the best career advice happens when you're walking, not sitting. Join us for a therapeutic stroll through Melbourne's most stunning gardens, where we'll unpack what's really going on behind the career grind.
International students carry invisible weight - homesickness, imposter syndrome, the pressure to "figure it all out" while navigating a new country. This isn't another networking event. It's a breath of fresh air. Literally.
Our Melbourne Garden Tour:
π Start: Parliament House steps (because every journey begins with democracy, right?)
π³ Stop 1: Treasury Gardens - where the city meets serenity
πΈ Stop 2: The Conservatory at Fitzroy Gardens - Instagram moment guaranteed
π§Ί Final destination: Fitzroy Gardens picnic paradise - where real conversations happen
Picture this: walking with mentors and fellow students through tree-lined paths, sharing stories that matter, then sprawling out on picnic blankets with free lunch while diving deeper into the stuff that keeps you up at 3am.
π Therapeutic walking through Melbourne's garden gems
π Real talk about burnout, growth, and finding your path
π§Ί Gourmet picnic lunch (yes, free!) in nature's office
π€ Genuine connections with people who get it
This is where healing meets career planning. Where anxiety transforms into clarity. Where you realize you're not alone in this beautiful, chaotic journey.
