Walk for Peace – Peace in the City

Walk for Peace - Peace in the City (Adelaide) brings people of all backgrounds together for an 8km community walk celebrating connection, unity, and goodwill, ending with a celebration at Peace Park - Karrawirra on Sir Edwin Smith Drive, North Adelaide.
During the walk you will visit symbolic Peace Poles, each carrying messages of peace in different languages. Ambassadors along the route will welcome walkers at each Peace Pole and share some words of inspiration. Peace Poles are located throughout the city, including St Aloysious College, Whitmore Square, Adelaide Oval and St Peter’s Cathedral.
Participants can choose to walk the whole 8km route or choose sections of the walk only.
A short celebration at our final stop at Peace Park from 2-3pm will then be held.
