This year, we are coming together to honor the lives of those we’ve lost, to celebrate the gift of organ donation, and to support the mission of We Are Sharing Hope SC.
BJ is a friend of mine, Kaye Frierson Dorsey’s son, who passed the same year Maddie did. Her son was an organ donor and gave life to others. Kaye has such a special place in my heart, hey together we are knocking down some pretty high walls we have build 😂. I love her, and I love her heart for the Lord, and for her son and I want to help support my friend, and something that means so much to her. Will you help me?
In 2023, Team BJ started with just one member.
In 2024, Team BJ & Lynn grew to 33 members.
Now, in 2025, They are expanding again—Team BJ, Lynn & Michele—and we need YOU!
The Race for Life is an annual walk held at Folly Beach, SC, to raise awareness and support for organ and tissue donation. But you don’t have to be at Folly Beach to be part of this mission!
Right here at home, we are gathering to walk in Laurens, SC, meeting at the LAKE RABON, and walking together. This is a chance to show up for those who have lost loved ones, in memory of your loved one and to be part of something that brings hope and healing to so many others!
💚 How You Can Join Us:
✅ Walk in person – Join us in Laurens (or if you wish, at Folly Beach) on March 29, 2025
✅ Be a “Hero at Home” – Support the cause from wherever you are
✅ Honor and remember – Walk in memory of those who gave the gift of life
When you click the link select Hero at Home and message me that you would like to participate with me in Laurens so I know who to look for that day.
