Walk for Inclusion - August

Join us for a walk around Nixon Park to celebrate children of all abilities and support moms after your visit to Inclusion Coffee!
About this Event

After you have had a chance to visit Inclusion Coffee inside or through their convenient drive thru, join us at the giant heart landmark at Nixon Park between 11:45 a.m. and noon.

We'll enjoy a relaxed walk on the paved path, ending at the playground around 12:45 p.m. This welcoming walk is a chance for moms and caregivers, including those raising children with special needs, to connect, recharge, and support one another.

Participants can also take part in simple acts of kindness for a chance to win small prizes.

Our mission is to provide low-to-no cost opportunities for moms to connect, build friendships, and create fun experiences for littles through community events and meet-ups.

By attending any event hosted by Becky Newton or affiliated mom group meet-ups, attendees acknowledge and accept that participation is voluntary and at their own risk. Becky Newton, event organizers, hosts, and affiliated venues are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, accidents, lost or stolen items, damages, or unforeseen circumstances that may occur before, during, or after an event.

Parents and guardians are fully responsible for supervising and caring for their children at all times during events.

While every effort is made to host events as planned, weather conditions, venue issues, illness, low attendance, or other unexpected situations may result in cancellation, rescheduling, or changes to the event. Updates will be posted on Facebook and Instagram at least 2 hours prior to the event whenever possible, including alternate indoor options if available.

Please be aware that photos or videos may occasionally be taken during events for social media or promotional purposes. Reasonable efforts will be made to avoid featuring attendees or children upon request. To opt out, please message Becky Newton directly through Facebook or Instagram prior to or during the event.

These events are intended to be welcoming, respectful, and inclusive spaces for all families. Attendees are expected to treat others, shared spaces, and venues with kindness and respect. Anyone engaging in unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or harmful behavior may be asked to leave the event.

By attending an event, participants acknowledge they have read and agreed to these guidelines and understand that activities and outdoor conditions may involve inherent risks.
