Walk for Hope - World Mental Health (Battle Creek)

Join us for something new this fall!✨🍂

On Saturday, October 11, at Riverside Park in Battle Creek, Harbor of Hope Ministries is hosting our first-ever Walk for Hope in honor of World Mental Health Day, and this year’s theme is: Access to Services.🙌

Mental health challenges, including Eating Disorders, can have lasting effects if not met with timely support. Everyone deserves affordable, accessible care on their path to healing, and together, we can help make that possible.💚

Bring your family, friends, church group, and even your friendly canine companions as we walk together to build hope, raise awareness, and pave the way toward healing. Together, we can hope to make a world of difference.🌎💫

Event Details:

📅 Saturday, October 11

🕒 Walk anytime between 3:00–5:00 PM (packet pickup starts at 2:30 PM)

📍 Golden Ave, Riverside Park, Battle Creek, MI

📋 Early packet pickup also available on Friday, October 10, from 5:00–6:00 PM

☔️ If there is inclement weather, the rain date will be Sunday, October 12

Kids 5 & under — Free

🐾 All friendly canine companions welcome! (Extra dog treats available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the fundraiser.)

⏰ Register by Thursday, October 9, at 11:00 PM to secure your ticket and packet on time!

📨 Once you’re registered, be on the lookout for an email and in the Facebook event for more info on where to park and the starting location as we get closer.

Walk 2k (1.25 miles) in your own community anytime during October, and we’ll mail you a packet with:

✔ Walk for Hope sticker

✔ Harbor of Hope bracelet

📣 Last Call Tickets: Extra tickets may be available on Friday, October 10, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, October 11, starting at 2:30 PM, before the walk begins.
