About this Event
Our "Walk & Talk" sessions run on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. The walk on the 1st Sunday of the month will meet at a location on the High Street at 9.30am. The session on the 3rd Sunday meets at a variety of locations (theses are shared on EventBrite and our Social Media ahead of the Walk)
Our "Walk & Talk" sessions are available to all men living, working or visiting the Leighton Buzzard area and are always free of charge.
"Walk & Talk" sessions are designed to get you out of the house and into nature. We provide a safe space for men to discus issues and problems that they are facing without judgement or stigma. Talking about your mental health or talking at all is entirely optional, you can discuss whateber you want or enjoy our beautiful countryside in silence if you prefer!
Our walks usually last for about 90 minutes and the routes vary, but will often take in areas such as the canal, Tiddenfoot Waterpark, Bluebell Woods and so on...
"Walk & Talk for MENtal Health Leighton Buzzard" are not a counselling service, but we do provide peer support and can often signpost people to get additional help and support if required.
