Join the Walk Against Family Violence on Friday 22 November to help create a future where we are all safe, equal and respected.This event marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence – a global campaign for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.
By joining the Walk in solidarity with victim survivors, you can take action to prevent family violence and violence against women.
People of all genders are welcome. Bring your workmates, friends, family, chosen family and dogs.
Wear orange if you can, bring a water bottle, and don’t forget colourful signs and banners.
If you can’t get along to an event, you can walk, wheel or share your thoughts from home on social media.
Tag Respect Victoria on your socials to let us know why you’re walking, using the hashtags #WAFV2024 and #WhyWeWalk.
