Walk A Mile In Her Shoes

The event first launched in 2018, inspired by the organization Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®: The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence. The walk is a fun and impactful event that invites men to walk a mile in red heels to raise awareness about the serious causes, effects, and remediations to men’s sexualized violence. Walk A Mile in Her Shoes® is more than just a walk, it’s a powerful statement of solidarity and commitment to ending violence. Participants will experience the challenge of walking in high heels, symbolizing the difficulties faced by victims of domestic violence. This event encourages community dialogue about gender stereotypes and violence and is a step towards creating a safer, more supportive community for everyone.
