Hospitality House for Women is proud to present Paint the Town Purple, a vibrant community movement dedicated to raising awareness and crucial funds for survivors of domestic violence.
For 19 years, Hospitality House for Women has hosted Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. At Walk a Mile, we invite community members to walk down Broad Street in women's shoes, shedding light on the fact that you can never understand a person's situation until you've walked in their shoes. We want our community to join forces against domestic violence; it is not just a “women’s issue,” it’s a human issue!
📍Find us in the back garden at the Sara Hightower Regional Library, 205 Riverside Parkway, Rome, GA.
This is a FREE community event, and everyone is welcome: families, businesses, local leaders, community members, and advocates to paint our community in purple, the official color of domestic violence awareness.
We are excited for another great year to join forces in ending the cycle of intimate partner violence in our community! Please email [email protected] if you'd like to sponsor!
Registration begins at 11am!
