CHATTERLEY WHITFIELD HERITAGE COUNTRY PARK To get us started on a new year of fantastic planned walks, we’ll be easing ourselves in with this welcoming walk around Whitfield Valley — new members very welcome! It’s a relaxed, friendly walk and a great chance to reconnect, meet new people, and enjoy the outdoors together.
The route includes a wide variety of wildlife and habitats, and we’ll be walking at an easy, sociable pace with plenty of opportunities to pause, chat, and take in the surroundings.
Along the way we’ll pass local landmarks such as Chatterley Whitfield Colliery, with a gentle climb up the old spoil heap rewarding us with beautiful panoramic views across the Whitfield Valley.

DISTANCE: 3.5 miles | Approx. 2.5 hours
Dogs are welcome, but must:
Be accompanied by their owner and kept on a lead at all times
Be friendly and well-trained (no danger to people or other dogs)
Have all mess cleaned up
