Spend the day making a waistcoat whilst learning several dressmaking techniques including how to cut out pattern pieces, mark notches, transfer darts, pocket placement, topstitching and button holes. You are allocated a budget of £20 to choose from our wide range of fabric.All equipment and haberdashery is provided but you are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer.
A light lunch and refreshments are provided.
This workshop should give you sufficient time to leave with a finished garment but each person will work at a different pace so please be aware you may have tasks to complete at home to finish your garment. Or you could join us for a sociable sewing session for extra support.
