Labour Weekend – Waikato TrailsHi Cruisers
Naomi and I are planning a weekend of cycling in Hamilton over Labour Weekend (25-27 October). We will ride north to Ngaruawahia one day, south to Cambridge another, and around Hamilton itself on the third day. These are fantastic easy scenic rides on well-formed paths. We would love to have your company!
No booking or registering is required. Arrange your own accommodation and transport and turn up at the rendezvous for any or all the rides. Details of each day’s rides will be posted on Facebook closer to the date.
Stay anywhere you like, but there is a mixture of accommodation options still available at Hamilton City Holiday Park, which has the added advantage that you might spot me ambling from our caravan to the showers in my dressing gown. Book soon as some motels and camping places are already booked out for the weekend.
