Are you ready to deepen your understanding of God’s call to peace and take meaningful action in your community? Join us at "Waging Peace: Hearing God's Call, Responding with Action," a transformative community forum designed to explore and embrace the call to peace through faith and action.
On October 26th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, we will come together for a day of inspiration, learning, and growth. This event will offer a unique opportunity to reflect on God's profound love for us, discover your personal vision of peace, and explore how you can make a difference in the world.
Guest Lectures: Hear from four community leaders as they delve into various aspects of peace and offer insights on translating these teachings into practical actions.
The Rev. Giselle Coutinho — Domestic Violence
The Rev. Sara Lilja — Interfaith Advocacy
Ms. Andrea Gerrard — Peacework in Bosnia
The Rev. Erich Kussman — NJ Synod Prison Ministry
Lunch Provided: Enjoy a complimentary lunch with fellow participants, offering a chance for fellowship and discussion.
This event is open to all who are seeking to deepen their faith and make a positive impact in their communities. Whether you are a long-time member of the church or new to the community, you will find opportunities for growth, reflection, and action.
