Please join us in welcoming local historian Clarence Horsager to the Wadena City Library on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 5:30pm. He will present a slideshow and talk on Wadena County’s Early Trails.
Before air travel, automobiles and even the Northern Pacific Railroad, a number of significant paths were blazed through our county, connecting farmers and fur traders with their customers. Clarence will talk about three main trails: The Oxcart, The Wheat and The Woods. It is planned to be a half-hour session with questions to follow.
