TRI THE CAMELA fast course and scenic views make Wadebridge Tri a firm favourite in the Cornish Tri calendar. With distances to suit newbies and seasoned mermaids as well as junior events on the same day, it is a great day out for the whole family.
SENIOR EVENTS
Enjoy a rolling bike course on quiet roads near the coast before following the scenic Camel Trail into the estuary on your run.
Event Distances:
• Little Camel: 200m swim | 13.6k bike | 2.5k run
• Big Camel: 400m swim | 26k bike | 5k run
Start: 8:00am
Cornish Tri Points: Max 100
JUNIOR EVENTS
Scootathlon (5-8Y)
Fun Triathlon for our youngest participants, all abilities welcome. Scoot, Bike & Run to triathlon glory (400m Scoot- 400m Bike – 400m Run).
Mini Tri (8-16Y)
Juniors get to race the fastest circuit in the Cornish Mini Tri Series. The fully tarmacked bike loop on closed roads between Wadebridge School and Primary Academy is followed by a run around the green. Great viewing points for spectators all along the bike and run route make for an electric atmosphere at Wadebridge Mini Tri.
Event Distances:
• 8 years: 50m swim – 800m bike – 600m run
• 9y-10y: 100m swim – 1.6k bike – 1.2k run
• 11-12y: 150m swim – 2.4k bike – 1.8k run
• 13-14y: 200m swim – 4.0k bike – 2.4k run
• 15-16y: 400m swim – 5.6k bike – 3.6k run
Start: 2:30pm
