Wade Acuff Fantasy Portraits Class

Fantastic! Let’s create some creatures! This 2hr workshop takes your current knowledge of drawing portraits (intermediate level) and provides techniques to help you create your own varied fantasy creature portraits. 

This class includes a presentation that covers how I approach basic creature portraits while keeping a loose head structure. Then we’ll expand to various techniques that allow for more reference based creations. Using these ideas, together we’ll work through several guided portraits of your choosing. All materials are provided.

 Wade Acuff is an artist/illustrator with a focus on sci fi and fantasy art. Current illustration clients include Wizards of the Coast, Emberglow Gaming, and other indie projects. He also uses his artistic talents for various TV and film projects both local and national. Some of his most current film work involved creating storyboards for Spinal Tap 2 and concept art for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. With a mindset towards improvement, Wade is always looking for a unique challenge with each and every project.
