The next WA Coastal Running Festival Event will be held at Lake Goollelal - Kingsley in the City of Wanneroo this spring!
It will be the first time a running event has ever been held at this picturesque location and the WACRF is excited to bring this event to you. The event course starts on the Goollelal Drive side of the Lake and leads into a mostly flat 5km path run.
The event boasts two partner relay events and three solo events.
𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀:
Find your BRF (Best Running Friend) and together tackle the 20km or 30km events as a partnership. This run is conducted in a relay format, meaning while one partner is running the other is resting. During the combined 20km distance each partner will run 5km twice each. During the combined 30km distance each partner will run 5km three times each.
𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼:
If you fancy a solo challenge, then the 5km, 10km and 15km events will offer you just that.
All five events will be fully timed via a running chip.
𝟯𝟬𝗞𝗠 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 𝟳.𝟰𝟱𝗮𝗺
Course: Lake Goollelal Path. Starting at the Goollelal Drive side of the lake complete one full lap of the 5km path. Then returning to the start line to tag your running partner. Runners repeat 3 full laps each.
Participants must be 13 years or over.
Cost: $100 as a team. $50 each, pay as a team/no separate payments.
𝟮𝟬𝗞𝗠 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿
𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 𝟳.𝟱𝟬𝗮𝗺
Course: Starting at the Goollelal Drive side of the lake complete one full lap of the 5km path. Then returning to the start line to tag your running partner. Runners repeat 2 full laps each.
Participants must be 13 years or over.
Cost: $80 as a team. $40 each, pay as a team/no separate payments.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 𝟳.𝟰𝟱𝗮𝗺
Course: Lake Goollelal Path. Starting at the Goollelal Drive side of the lake, complete 3 full laps of the 5km path.
Participants must be 13 years or over.
Cost: $65

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 𝟳.𝟱𝟬𝗮𝗺
Course: Lake Goollelal Path. Starting at the Goollelal Drive side of the lake, complete 2 full laps of the 5km path.
Participants must be 13 years or over.
Cost: $50
