This is a full night of performances by Katrice Horsley, Etzia, Lamine Faty, Jaded Jane and Ashar Yamin Khan. Get ready for storytelling, music, drums and, maybe some magic. 🪄 🏠 🎤🪘🔮
You’re invited to a house party in the city where we’ll explore the art of collective storytelling. Through different voices and expressions, we’ll attempt to embody our relationship to home — to belonging, returning, or to never quite arrive.
Experience an evening of music, stories, and a touch of mystery. The kitchen will be open for anyone feeling hungry. Together, we want to create a house party where the noise of the outside world fades away. In the timelessness of the party, we’ll make space to curiously ask ourselves and each other: what is it that we’re really longing for?

Du är bjuden till en hemmafest på stan där vi ägnar oss åt att utforska kollektivt berättande. Med olika röster och uttryck gör vi ett försök att förkroppsliga vår samtida relation till hemmet, att höra hemma, känslan av att komma hem eller att aldrig riktigt nå dit.
Ta del av musik, berättelser och mystik. Köket är öppet under kvällen för den som är hungrig. Tillsammans vill vi skapa en hemmafest där bruset från omvärlden tillåts tystna. I hemmafestens tidlöshet vill vi skapa rum för att med nyfikenhet fråga oss själva och varandra: vad är det vi egentligen längtar till?

It's hardly any news that art and culture can make us existentially aware. The art of being shaken, of suddenly seeing something with new eyes, and of re-evaluating what truly matters, is essential in the great transformation we now face. In other words, how we choose to respond to our era’s collective loss of meaning and coherence.

Philosopher Jonna Bornemark even claims that we are living in a renaissance of philosophy — a time when we are fundamentally called to examine our underlying assumptions about what it is, or could be, to be human. One thing is certain: we need a collective home. We need to feel at home. So — what does our future home feel like, the one we so desperately need to create within ourselves and together as a collective? And who must we become to get there?

Det här arrangemanget är en del av Sensus Existentiella hållbarhetsvecka. Existentiell hållbarhet handlar om människors relation till sig själva, varandra och den natur som vi alla är en del av. Under veckan utforskar vi hur omställningen till ett existentiellt hållbart samhälle kan se ut genom digitala och fysiska arrangemang runt om i landet som är öppna för alla.
