VZ Media Presents VZ Summer Showdown at the CSI Center for the Arts

VZ Media returns to the College of Staten Island Center for the Arts on Saturday, July 11 at 7:00 p.m. with the exciting and audience-driven VZ Summer Showdown in the CFA Recital Hall.

Sixteen talented performers will each champion their favorite Broadway musical, presenting a medley of songs that celebrate the show they love most. From beloved classics to contemporary hits, the evening promises a spirited showcase of musical theatre talent, creativity, and passion.

Produced by Charlie Siedenburg and Quaran Fugate, the evening is directed by Matthew Ochoa with music direction by Gavin Matthias.

What makes VZ Summer Showdown unique is that the audience becomes part of the competition. Throughout the evening, attendees will vote for their favorite presentation, ultimately helping to crown the winning performer and musical.

Following the competition, audience members are invited to stay for a special post-show reception with the cast, providing an opportunity to meet the performers and celebrate the evening’s winner.

“Whether you're a fan of Golden Age classics or today’s Broadway blockbusters, VZ Summer Showdown offers a fun and interactive celebration of the musicals audiences love most,” said Charlie Siedenburg, Artistic Director of the CSI Center for the Arts. “The audience doesn't just watch the show—they help decide the winner.”

Tickets include admission to both the performance and the post-show reception.
