Vulva Gazing Ceremony

The original Goddess, Inanna, Lady of the Vulva, laid a roadmap toward the union of the Divine Feminine.

She taught womankind how to unify the dark & light, our inner masculine & feminine, & become our whole radiant, prosperous, authentic, sexual selves. She taught & showed women how to lay down all our false skins & step into the Truth of who we are in the name of love.

One of her famous legends tells of her descent into the underworld to greet her sister, Ereshkigal, to sit together in their greif. However, as she descended into the underworld she had to pass through seven gateways, taking off different pieces of her priestess adornments at each one, until she was stripped naked; bare to the bone, & was able to sit with her sister at last.

This story shows us that in order to unify the Earthly, heavenly, & Hellish feminine & become whole, we too must be willing to leave behind all the elements of our extneral lives, relations, & indentities to sit naked in our full authencitiy.

In this ceremonial workshop, we will be using Inanna's map & her ancient practice of vulva gazing to lay down our false identities & sit in communion with the wholeness of who we truly are: a truth that is imprinted within & upon our vulva lips.

The practice of vulva gazing helps us to unify our innermost secrets with the parts of us that walk in the light regularly. The gates of our vaginas are escribed with the stories of our inner magic, our deepest shadows, all the times we have not gaurded our boundaries, & the times they've been pushed past. Like snowflakes, each vulva is totally unique & is the physical representation of the soul that lives within the body.

When we pause to meet these parts of ourselves in presence & through witnessing, we can begin the alchemic journey of unifiication of ourselves.

Workshop Flow:

• We will begin with an opening greeting circle to get to know eachother & set intentions for the journey ahead.
• We will then move into storytellling, discussing the legend of Inanna & her descent to the underworld to unify the light & dark feminine.
• Then, our gazing journey will begin! We will set up in a circle with all heads in the center, facing out. No one will see your vulva but you! Our gazing journey will be fascilitated by a sound journey from Cher & with audio guidance from Hannah.
• We will close with a final sharing circle to ground our experiences. Sharing this time will not be required, only if it feels supportive to integration.

• Yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, & blankets to set up your space for gazing
• Your own unique mirror for gazing -- you will get to take this home with you to continue your gazing practice!

You are more than welcome to attend this workshop while on your menstrual cycle, just please bring your own towel to sit on & catch your blood.

Meet Your Guides

This workshop will be fascilitated by Hannah Grace, founder & leader of Coming Home Embodiment, & Cher, founder & leader of Held Circle & Ecstatic Dance DJ.

Hannah will lead the mythical storytelling portion of the circle & verbally guide the vulva gazing ceremony. Cher will be facilitating the audio/sonic portion of the vulva gazing ceremony.

About Hannah

Hannah Grace is a performing artist & holistic embodiment coach. She founded Coming Home Embodiment in 2023 as part of a choreographic project that helped her process her own trauma of being sexually abused.

Since that project completed, Hannah has continued expanding Coming Home, focusing on her passion for helping women come into communion with their female anatomy, in order to fully embody themselves.

She has 400 Hrs accredited yoga teaching, is a Reiki Levels 1&2 healer, an Inner Voice Facilitator, Rapid Transformational Therapy Pracitioner, Holisitc Birthkeeper, is a graduate of Jasmine Rose's Womb Wisdom School, & has developed her own format for Past Life Regression Hypnosis.

She teaches online & in person group workshops, holds 1:1 healing spaces, & teaches online courses alongside her career as a performing artist.

About Cher

Cher is a sacred ceremony space holder and Ecstatic Dance DJ.

For the past 7 years, she has been guiding women through yoga, somatic movement, and embodied dance, with a deep focus on reconnecting to the wisdom of the body.

Her path has been shaped by trainings in:

• Yoni Shakti – Tantric Womb Practices with Uma Dinsmore Tuli

• Pregnancy & Postpartum Care with Nadia Narain (Triyoga)

With over 3 years of experience teaching Embodied Dance, Cher brings sensitivity and power to her offerings, weaving together the spiritual dimensions of birth, menstruation, and cyclical living.

As an Embodied Somatic Guide, she works both 1:1 and in groups, supporting people to return to their intuitive bodies through movement, ritual, and presence. For the past 5 years, she has been holding Sacred Women’s Circles in East London—creating safe, transformative spaces for women to gather, heal, and remember their innate wisdom.

Term & Conditions:

Please note that this workhop will contain a sound journey that may include moments of loud sound. The music will not be sustained loud for the entire time, but it will ebb & flow in volume.

Once the gazing portion of this workshop begins, you will not be permitted to get up & walk around the room, except for to leave for the toilet. This is to maintain the integrity of our intimate container. If something arises, Hannah will come to you for 1:1 support, should it be necessary.

Please remember that while we hope this practice can facilitate healing within you, this is not a therapy setting, so in joining you are committing to feeling confident in processing emotions that may arise throughout our journey.

You must have a vulva to attend this workshop :) Any gender identification are welcome. We will be using terminology such as, 'female anatomy' & 'feminine energy' in this workshop.

You must be 18 years of age or older to attend this workshop, or else have written consent from a parent/gaurdian, or have a female parent/gaurdian in attendence with you.
