VSMF’s 30th anniversary season continues! 2025 Banff International String Quartet Competition First Prize winners, the Poiesis Quartet, are joined by Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt.
Lauded for their “palpable chemistry and remarkable warmth” (San Francisco Classical Voice), Poiesis has a focus on expanding the string quartet repertoire with vibrant new works by emerging composers.
Praised by The Strad magazine as having “lyricism that stood out . . . a silky tone and beautiful, supple lines,” Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt has established herself as one of the most sought-after violists of her generation.
This concert features music by Lang, Wiancko, Lambright, and Coleridge-Taylor.
There will be a pre-concert talk at 2:00 pm.
