The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Vietnamese Students Association (VSA) is coming up soon and we welcome you to join! 🤗💌
📆 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧: Thursday 03th October (Term 3 Week 4)

⚠️ Please note: 2025 New Executive Training will be held on the 20th & 21st of October 2024 in-person at the Roundhouse. At least TWO Executives from each Club are required to attend ONE of the days. If you are nominating for an Executive position, please save these dates.
All VSA UNSW 2024 members are permitted to vote.
🪧 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
So what is a committee executive? Here's a brief explanation of each role:
✤ 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩: The name speaks for itself, you overlook everything over VSA UNSW, you are its leader and everything that happens to VSA UNSW is your responsibility.
✤ 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩: You are the President's right hand, you represent them if they're not present. You maintain harmony within the committee, you are the gel of the committee and you overlook every VSA event in UNSW. You are the go-to person for the committee and our members, and responsible for internal and IUC bondings.
✤ 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩: You are the President's left hand. You liaise and maintain relationships with other VSAs from other unis and you communicate with external parties. You are also responsible for the professionalism of VSA UNSW as you will deal with external bodies which may include: councils, businesses, and sponsors.
✤ 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩: You’ll supervise MMs in tandem to create promotional content, CPs, and post-event recaps. You’re responsible for maintaining our social media presence and drafting and adhering to the Marketing Calendar.
(It is advisable and preferable that candidates for President and Vice Presidents are existing or past committee members).
✤ 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮: The PA (personal assistant/admin) role, you are the point of contact for both the committee and the society. You are also in charge of all documents and records. You are also in charge of progress in the committee - whereby it is important that you're aware of how each member is going with their respective tasks.
✤ 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙧: The person responsible for VSA’s finances. In Games of Thrones terms, you are the Master of the Coin. You are in charge of managing the society’s cash balance and bank account, budgeting for all events, maintaining the society’s financial records and infrastructure, and ensuring the society and its events remain well funded for years to come.
✤ 𝘼𝙧𝙘 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙚: You maintain the relationship between VSA and our student organisation Arc@UNSW. You attend their meetings and inform us of any changes or news. You also overlook events in which you are in charge of.
