Join designer & stylist Robbie Amodeo for interesting insights into the worlds of fashion, costume and more! Inspired by the book he is writing – The Romance of Retail – Robbie Amodeo’s lecture covers a fascinating look into the glamorous heyday of department stores and how they evolved since the 1800’s, including the “firsts” in America and how the American Midwest was as relevant to the burgeoning retail as cities such as NYC and Philadelphia. Throughout the talk, enjoy the photos and vintage pieces that Robbie will highlight.
Robbie Amodeo works on Broadway, Television and Film and
presents Historical Fashion, Art & Culture shows throughout NJ.
His series is called "The Past Has Just Begun"
This venue is handicap accessible. Parking is available behind the building and on the street. Light refreshments, coffee and tea will be served.
