You'll repot, trim and wire your own Japanese garden! Part of our ongoing Bonsai series, Daniel will take you through the process of creating and caring for your very own Bonsai. We provide all the supplies you need, you bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. We can't wait to meet you.

This month’s plant selection is Bougainvillea bonsai.

Daniel brings more than 40 years experience, across Australia, the UK and the US, in the cultivation and care of Bonsai. He fell in love with the art when his Oma (grandmother) Elizabeth Deephouse introduced him to it when he was eight. He loves to share his passion with anyone interested in learning. Daniel currently volunteers to help maintain the Bonsai collection at the Huntington Gardens and the Lake Balboa Japanese Garden.
