VOWR Fundraising Concert: Swing Back To The Fifties!

Coming up on Saturday, Sept 19th at Holy Heart Theatre, VOWR radio presents our third annual fundraising concert titled, “A Swing Back To the 50s!”

Hear some of the best songs from the 1950s from some of the best talent that Newfoundland & Labrador has to offer! They will be accompanied by the VOWR House Band featuring Sandy Morris and Paul "Boomer" Stamp, formerly of the Wonderful Grand Band. Rounding out the band are Paul Kinsman (Ron Hynes, Alan Doyle, The Ennis Sisters), Glenn Parsons (Barry Canning Band), and Joe Tompkins (Sons of Erin).
The evening will be hosted by performer and co- owner of the Spirit of Newfoundland, Peter Halley! Come on down to Holy Heart Theatre and enjoy a great night of music and song while showing your support for “good old radio", 800 VOWR.
