Votes, Turns and Roundabouts will seek to make sense of the 7 May local election results. The biggest test for both the government and the opposition parties since 04.07.24

Labour having lost the Gorton and Denton by-election and having been mired in the Mandelson-Epstein which forced the resignation of Keir Starmer's hugely influential Chief of Staff, Morgan McSweeney, can Labour spark a recovery? Will The Green Party riding the wave of Zack Polanski's popularity turn this into winning control of councils across the country? Reform continue to lead in the opinion polls but their support amongst voters appears to be flatlining , might 7 May prove to be boom, or bust?

Our afternoon of participative discussion provides a framework to start finding some answers.
