Volusia County Economic Development "Q" Breakfast - Aug 15, 2025

Join Volusia County Economic Development for the “Q” Breakfast" for a panel discussion on how three entrepreneurs turned their skilled trade careers into thriving businesses in Volusia County.

Guest presenters will include:

• Glen Harvey, Owner, AC Doctor
• Marc Hazen, Co-Owner, Hazen Construction

Lou Paris, director of the Volusia County Division of Economic Development, will discuss the county’s second quarter 2025 economic data which includes new residential and commercial construction permit activity, redevelopment permit activity, and municipal and county labor statistics. The report also highlights the skilled trades industries with profiles of various trade occupations, associated wages and employment needs as well as business formations and establishments in Volusia.

This is an excellent opportunity to interact with elected officials, community partners and stakeholders, and to learn more about the state of Volusia County's economy.
