Weekday work at the Extension offers an opportunity to support our farm and ground-keeping staff in maintaining the beauty of Bonton and Bonton Farms. This opportunity plays a crucial role in fulfilling our mission.

What will we be doing? During your time at Bonton Farms you can expect to help with the following types of chores:
-Cleaning out dirty chicken coops
-Weeding and watering
-Helping plant new crops
-Adding compost or mulch to crop rows
-Assisting with Maintenance and groundkeeping in Bonton
By signing up for this opportunity, we respectfully ask that you come ready to work and get your hands dirty! We are a real, working farm!
What should you wear?
Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Short or long-sleeve t-shirt (longer sleeves protect against bugs and the sun), work pants or jeans, closed-toe boots (or other closed-toe shoes you don’t mind getting muddy), hat, or sunglasses.
