Volunteering at Charlcombe Community Nature Reserve

The focus of the session will be to continue the work in the East Field (above the brook) that The Conservation Volunteers and local people carried out in December, January and February. We'll be clearing the scrub and bramble roots, helping to restore the grassland and see what wildflowers have been dormant. Some of the scrub has been left so that we have a mosaic of habitats.

We will be meeting on Saturday at the kissing gate on Charlcombe Way - https://what3words.com/haven.being.into. If you're joining us, please make sure that you're wearing the right clothing and if you have any mattocks, rakes or sturdy bags, it would be brilliant if you could bring them along. You'll also need gardening gloves.
