Volunteer Workday: China Camp State Park

Help improve wildfire resilience at the park by removing highly flammable vegetation! Volunteers will collect eucalyptus debris and French broom from trails and move it to a designated area, so that the Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority can come at a future date to chip and remove the material from the park.
Volunteers can expect to walk approximately 0.5–1.5 miles over the course of the day. Please note, the project area will not have access to a bathroom. Volunteers will have to drive to nearby restroom access before or after the event.
Ages 14 and older are welcome (minors must be accompanied by an adult and bring a waiver signed by their guardian). Free tent camping is provided on Friday night for registered volunteers.
