Join us for a powerful community experience with the Youth Fishing League.

The Youth Fishing League is building something special by introducing youth and families to fishing, outdoor wellness, and community connection in a fun, welcoming, and impactful way. Every cast, every catch, and every smile matters.

These events also serve as a special pre-Father’s Day fishing experience, creating space for families to connect, celebrate, and enjoy time together outdoors.

When you volunteer with us, you become part of that experience.

Saturday, June 20, 2026 Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary

• Arrive at your designated volunteer time ready to support
  
• Assist with setup and breakdown of tents, tables, and chairs
  
• Support event cleanup and maintaining the space
  
• Help serve food to participants
  
• Assist youth and families with baiting hooks, handling fish, and learning the basics of fishing
  
• Support check-in and other event needs as directed by program staff
