About the Role
Volunteers will assist with essential daily tasks that keep our sanctuary running smoothly and ensure the health and wellbeing of our animals.
Responsibilities include:
Feeding and watering horses, donkeys, goats, cats, and chickens
Mucking stalls, paddocks, coops, and enclosures
Cleaning barns, shelters, and common areas
Refilling hay, bedding, and supplies
Basic animal care support under supervision
General property maintenance and cleanup
Seasonal tasks such as raking, organizing feed, and light repairs
Training Provided
All volunteers receive hands-on training in:
Safe animal handling for all species on-site
Feeding procedures and daily care routines
Barn and property maintenance practices
Safety protocols and emergency procedures
No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and a commitment to reliable care.
