If you haven’t volunteered with us before, what better way to do some good, get out into nature and meet new friends.
Our tasks vary week on week. From workshop-style sessions making hazel hurdles, to litter picking & park maintenance.
Task days take place on the third Saturday of each month and tend to include; clearance of path and stairways, cutting back foliage, digging & getting muddy! etc
We will be serving hot drinks, biscuits and a hot lunch (including a veggie option) prepared for us by the wonderful Cuerden View Café team.
We will have disposable cups and forks, but please do your bit for the environment and bring your own container and spoon if you can.
We'll meet you at Cuerden View Café on our Berkeley Drive Car park at 09.30 for a 10.00 start and run through until about 15.00 - or whenever you need to leave.
Children, families & well-behaved dogs on a lead are all welcome. Please dress appropriately for the weather with lots of layers and sturdy footwear.
