Join us in showing the garden some love this Valentine's Day!💚 On February 14th, Daily Acts will be at our beloved Cavanagh Center Food Forest for a morning of planting beautiful pollinator-supporting plants, such as echinacea, yarrow, irises, and blue-eyed grass.
By joining this program, you'll learn about plant guilds, planting best-practices, and plant selection for various ecological benefits and conditions.
The Cavanagh Recreation Center Food Forest is a carbon-negative landscape, meaning it sequesters more carbon than the emissions that come from its installation and ongoing maintenance! It was the first public food forest in at least Northern California, possibly the state, and the abundance it yields is for everyone. We look forward to connecting with you there!
