Volunteer Party: Fabric Rolling

We have a HUUUUUGE mountain of fabric that we need help taming! We'll need volunteers who are ready to measure, roll, and sort fabric.
About this Event

It's time for another Fabric Rolling Volunteer Party at The WasteShed Evanston!!! We have a scary mountain of fabric growing in our donation pile, and we need YOUR help to tame it.

Experience Level:

Beginner friendly! Volunteers should know how to measure and roll fabric, or be ready to learn from WasteShed staff and other volunteers.

What’s Provided:

• Rubberbands, yardsticks, labels and markers for rolling fabric
• A chance to chat with other community members who enjoy helping out the WasteShed's sustainability mission
• Also, each volunteer will go home with one roll of fabric of their choosing!

Getting There/Where to Park:

You may park in the parking lot in front of our building, or in the lot at the end of the street at the corner of Dempster, on the opposite side of the street! Please let us know if you need wheelchair access.

Masking/Covid Policy

Masks are encouraged for this event, but not required!
