Adopt-A-Pet is looking for some optimistic & enthusiastic people who want to help animals and work to make the community better.
We have so many areas to volunteer, there is a place for everyone here!
Do you like to:
- Walk dogs
- Play with cats
- Clean
- Garden/W**d
- Drive (transport animals or supplies)
- Help with laundry
- Return bottles
- Help with events
This is just a sampling of the ways in which people volunteer for Adopt-A-Pet.
Please come out for our orientation program and start your journey.
Children of all ages are welcome to volunteer with Adopt-A-Pet.
Kids under 8 years of age must have one adult volunteering with each child.
One adult may have two children under 18 years of age volunteer with them.
Young adults who have a Driver's License 16-18 years old may volunteer independently.
Orientation is divided into TWO, one hour sessions a week apart. The second session of orientation will be on the same day and time one week after the first.
