🐾 Calling All Animal Lovers! 🐾Have you ever thought about volunteering with shelter pets? Now’s your chance to get involved and make a real difference! 💛
Summit County Animal Control is looking for new volunteers to join our team, and we’d love to meet you!
✨ How to Get Started:
All new volunteers must attend an in-person orientation where we’ll go over everything you need to know and share some exciting updates about our program.
📅 Orientation Details:
Saturday, May 2nd at 9:00 AM
📍 250 Opportunity Parkway, Akron, OH 44307
📝 Paperwork:
You can fill out your volunteer forms ahead of time at https://co.summitoh.net or complete them when you arrive; whatever is easiest for you!
🤝 Summit County Animal Control has collaborated with Pay It Forward For Pets, a local 501(c)3 animal welfare organization, to bring this volunteer program to our community.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
Volunteering with our pups is rewarding and helping them transition into a “forever home” is a gift to them.
