About this Event
Between plants, insects, animals and people, farms are full of realationships that in early summer are alive with motion. This conversation highlights the pollinators and wildlife that keep food systems functioning, from familiar to the often overlooked, and explores how their presence shapes the health of our landscapes and harvests.
Join us on Wednesday, June 10 from 6:30pm-7:45pm for the second part of the four part Rooted Conversations Speaker Series at Crown Point Ecology Center.
Building on our May session, Living Soil: The Hidden World That Feeds Us, we'll look at the food webs that connect fields, farms, and wild spaces, what what it means to farm and live in partnership with the natural world.
Led by speaker Denise Ellsworth, together we'll explore why protecting pollinators and habitat matters, not just for biodiversity, but for resilient food systems and thriving communities.
