Help make a lasting impact at High Dive Park by joining the City of Elkhart Parks Root Crew for a Native Plug Planting!
Volunteers will work alongside Modern Woodmen and the Elkhart Environmental Center to plant native plugs around the newly renovated park pond and surrounding landscape. These native plants will help improve habitat for wildlife, support pollinators, reduce erosion, and enhance the beauty of the park for years to come.
Date: Thursday, July 23, 2026
Time: 5:30–7:30 PM
Location: High Dive Park
Whether you're an experienced gardener or just looking for a fun way to give back, we'd love to have you join us. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes that can get a little dirty. Gloves and planting instructions will be provided.
