Have you been wondering what people get up to as Prairiewoods volunteers? Find out at one of our two Volunteer Information Sessions in April while enjoying a free lunch from our kitchen team. Come and find purpose and joy here at Prairiewoods.We are always looking to meet new volunteers. Here is a short list of some of the many ways you might share your gifts:
• Help the kitchen team create a digital library of recipes
• Help monitor inventory, straighten and stock items in the gift shop
• Help create and post content on our social media
• Adopt a garden or work in the hoop house
• Greet guests, take payments and assist with check in and out at our front desk
• Build benches, bridges, fencing and more
• Adopt the roadside along our property and pick up litter
• Watch for family volunteer opportunities this coming summer and fall
